Today we’re training the staff at the shop in The Colony. We have cosmetologists who work with a male clientele on a daily basis and they wanted to get more hands-on with barbering techniques.
When cosmetologists come into Blade Craft Barber Academy, we like to focus on two aspects: both the tangibles and intangibles of the barbering business.
Tangibles include:
- Beard Shaping
- Tapering
- Men’s Hair Cutting
Intangibles would be something along the lines of:
- Building rapport
Increasing clientele - Marketing products
At Blade Craft, we actually allow the staff that comes in for training in our facility to interact with the students who are going through the course as well.
